Hankerin for hairpin lace and a petition to save Knitty Gritty

I have recently taken a fancy to hairpin lace. I even purchased this most amazing, beautiful dress pattern by the very talented Jennifer Hansen from StitchDiva.com. It's to be my dress for my upcoming highschool class reunion later this summer. I am totally excited and am well on my way to making this gorgeous dress.
